Start melting the butter! Fresher than anything you’ll find in stores, this popcorn is light and leaves almost no un-popped kernels in the pot. If your only experience with popcorn is from the microwave, it is time to try doing it the old-fashioned way. It’s easy and delicious! See the directions below.
Stovetop popcorn: Pour 3 tsp. vegetable oil into the bottom of a pot and place over medium heat. Drop three kernels into the oil and cover. When the kernels begin to pop, add 1/3 cup of popcorn to the pot. Gently shake the pot to coat kernels with oil and return to heat. Remove from the heat when the pops slow to about three seconds apart. Pour your popcorn into a serving bowl, season with salt and butter to taste or your favorite popcorn toppings.
