Stovetop popcorn: Pour 3 tsp. vegetable oil into the bottom of a pot and place over medium heat. Drop three kernels into the oil and cover. When the kernels begin to pop, add 1/3 cup of popcorn to the pot. Gently shake the pot to coat kernels with oil and return to heat. Remove from the heat when the pops slow to about three seconds apart. Pour your popcorn into a serving bowl, season with salt to taste or your favorite popcorn toppings.
