Pinot Noir – Easy Sauteed Mushrooms
This is a quick and easy topping for creamy polenta. Using an off-the-shelf teriyaki sauce saves time. If you don’t have any, use a minced clove of garlic, two tablespoons of soy sauce and two teaspoons of brown sugar.
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 Tablespoons of butter
- 1 Pound of pre-sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tablespoons of red wine
- 2 Tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 Teaspoon of salt
- 3-4 cranks of ground black pepper
Directions
Over medium heat, warm oil and butter. Once hot, add all ingredients and cook for five minutes, stirring occasionally. Move heat down to low and let simmer for five minutes
