2016 Estate Rosé
Nothing says fun like a nice pink Rosé. Refreshing with a great depth of flavor for a Rosé, our 2016 will definitely be a warm weather favorite. That said, we find it has great food pairing acumen for almost any occasion.
When making our estate red wines, one of the first steps we take is to remove a small portion of the juice so the remaining juice will have a higher skin to juice ratio. This process called Saignée (“to bleed”) leaves us with a small amount of the lightly colored, yummy precursor to Rosé. After fermentation and spending a much smaller amount in time in Barrel than its brethren, we end up with a fantastic wine.
