As parents who love wine and spending time with our children, creating a wine country experience that was legitimately enjoyable for everyone—adults and kids alike, has always been a key part of our vision.
We are proud to have been named one of the most kid-friendly (and dog-friendly) wineries in Sonoma County every year since we’ve been in business. In addition to the annual excitement of our fall Grape Stomp and spring Cork Hunt, children who visit us are often thrilled to find a basketball hoop and corn hole game waiting for them right outside of our tasting Barn.
Our scavenger hunt adventure backpacks are also quite popular with kids who accompany their parents to Belden Barns. The backpacks contain field guides to local birds or insects, magnifying glasses, binoculars, sketchpads, crayons, and other items, including a checklist of things to find. Kids can borrow the packs and search the property for items on the list like acorns, feathers, and owl pellets. The backpacks are free for families on a first-come, first-served basis, so please let us know in advance if you’d like to reserve one.
